Great news for all our guests at The Plough Inn.
We've been given the Cask Marque, an independent certification that ensures every pint of cask ale we serve is of the highest quality.
To obtain this coveted mark of approval, we had to pass the examinations carried out by Cask Marque assessors. They arrived and meticulously assessed all cask beers for temperature, appearance, aroma and taste.
And in June 2022, we got the news that our ales had passed with flying colours!
BEST COTSWOLD PUB 2017
We were voted the best Cotswold pub at The Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards, one of the biggest events in the local calendar. Like the Oscars of the Cotswold food world!
Thanks to both the nominations of the public and the well-respected judges, The Plough Inn at Ford was awarded with the highly acclaimed ‘Best Cotswold Pub Award’ we have always been proud of supporting local suppliers for the pub and we will continue to do so.
Providing top quality food and drink for our customers, as well as a warm welcome is at the heart of what we do.

Situated right in the very heart of The Cotswolds, The Plough Inn provides customers from near and far with a great selection of traditional seasonal food, pub classics and a wide range of real ales and beverages to be enjoyed in a beautiful Cotswold pub environment.
We have a strong connection to the local horse racing community being situated just across the road from Jackdaw's Castle, the home of Jonjo O'Neill racing stables and you will often find shooters with their feet up by our log fire after a long day out and about.
Our pub and garden is child and pet friendly and we have a play area for children in our garden for your children to enjoy (whilst you relax with a freshly poured Donnington Ale!).
